Reasons to learn English

Hello again! We are in the 3rd term. Yes, time flies! You are about to finish an important educational stage, Compulsory Secondary Education, and many of you are thinking about what to do next. Sometimes, it's hard to make up your mind, isn't it? Anyway, it may be interesting  for you to stop and think of the reasons why you have to learn English.

More about Easter

Hello again! This new activity is also about Easter. This time you have to do a listening activity to know more about the history of Easter. You have to watch a video, listen carefully and afterwards, do the quizz. You can listen as many times as you need, pause or rewind.

I would also like you to write your comments on the activity: interesting, difficult, long, entertaining,...

Easter!

Easter is here. You know that each country has its own traditions, cultural representations and festivities. Learning a language involves learning about cultural aspects as well.
  • What can you see in the picture?
  • Does the image tell you something about Easter?
  • What do you know about Easter in Britain?
  • How do people celebrate Easter in Britain?

Before doing the next activity answer these questions with the information that you have now. Write your answers as comments.

Once you've written a comment, click here to do the gap filling activity. This will give you basic information about Easter in Britain. Has it helped you to learn more about Easter? I hope so.
